Trust
TRUST, a French hard rock/metal band that was founded in 1977, gained international success not only because of the political and social-critical lyrics of their songs, but also through joint concert tours outside of France with chummy artists such as AC/DC and Iron Maiden. Iron Maiden’s drummer Nicko McBrain and Clive Burr were part of the TRUST line-up in the 1980s. TRUST split up in 1985 but reunited for the first time in 1988 due to the great international success of an English version of their most successful song “Antisocial” that was covered by legendary American thrash metal band Anthrax for their 1988 album ‘State of Euphoria’.
