Seven years after their last album “Eternal” Stratovarius reclaims its status as the figurehead of Power Metal with “Survive”, one of their strongest releases to date.

The band has commented on the long absence from the scene and the welcomed comeback by saying: “Survive is a dynamic and dramatic comeback, appealing to a wide range of emotions. The core message the new album conveys is one of struggle, defiance, hope and finally victory”.

Topics such as the environment and the future of mankind have always been a recurring motif in Stratovarius’ music. The album title, “Survive” as well as the beautiful and disturbing apocalyptic artwork resonates more than ever in the current global situation.

The new album is released as CD and, among a series of limited editions LPs, it is also available as “recycled vinyl” edition.
