Gregorian
GREGORIAN - The world's most successful choir has been captivating millions of fans for a quarter of a century and is now looking back on an impressive success story. The idea for GREGORIAN was born when Hamburg hit producer Frank Peterson (Andrea Bocelli, Sarah Brightman, José Carreras, Justin Timberlake, Backstreet Boys and many more) visited the royal monastery of San Lorenzo de El Escorial in Spain in 1989. There he found the inspiration to blend ancient Gregorian music with modern songs - a unique sound experiment. Millions of albums sold, over 1,400 shows in front of more than 3.2 million concertgoers and numerous gold and platinum awards later, GREGORIAN are now celebrating their 25th anniversary. “25/2025” – their new anniversary album featuring 30 songs – writes the next chapter of this one-of-a-kind success story. Not only in Germany do GREGORIAN continue to set new standards with their music, but they also inspire millions of people across the globe with their live shows and their ability to switch seamlessly from classical chorales to pop and rock songs.
