P.P. Arnold releases her new single ‘The Magic Hour’ off her new album ‘Live In Liverpool’ through earMUSIC, now available for streaming and download on all digital platforms.

In 2019, P.P. Arnold embarked on a UK tour together with a 9-piece band that not only celebrated her remarkable journey in music but also showcased her first album of new material since the early 1970s, ‘The New Adventures Of… P.P. Arnold’. The tour led to a series of unforgettable live performances across the UK, culminating in a truly magical grand finale at Grand Central Hall in Liverpool. “To end the tour on such a positive note with such a great audience and in such a great venue was the perfect way to end 2019 and step out properly in my New Adventures”, Arnold recalls. This standout show was recorded live and is captured on Arnold’s forthcoming brand-new live album ‘Live In Liverpool’.

Written by Steve Cradock of Ocean Colour Scene and originally featured on her 2019 record, ‘The New Adventures Of… P.P. Arnold’, this live version elevates the song to new heights. The performance from Liverpool features uplifting strings, catchy guitars and Arnold’s unmistakable vocals soaring against a backdrop of rich, live instrumentation, creating a special moment that echoes the golden era of soul.

‘Live In Liverpool’ will be released on October 18, 2024, as 180g black double vinyl, packed in a high-quality gatefold jacket, as well as CD Digipak edition and on all digital platforms. The album has all the grooves and striking performances London’s ‘First Lady of Soul’ is known and loved for and is another powerful testament to her versatility and charisma as a vocalist and performer.
