Today, acclaimed British hard rock band Thunder releases two previously unheard live albums through earMUSIC.  

‘Live At Islington Academy’ allows you to relive Thunder’s storming surprise performance at Planet Rock Radio’s inaugural Christmas Bash in 2006. From the touring cycle of their eighth studio album, ‘Robert Johnson’s Tombstone,’ this record captures the special energy of that night with classics like ‘Backstreet Symphony’ and ‘I Love You More Than Rock’N’Roll.’

The second album, ‘Live At Leeds’, recorded in March 2015 at Live Direct Arena in Leeds, showcases Thunder’s musicianship and incredible stage presence during their arena tour in support of their studio record ‘Wonder Days.’ 

Both performances stand as evidence of Thunder’s prowess as live entertainers. As Ben Matthews, guitarist and keyboarder of Thunder, says: “But there’s magic when [the five of us] play together. Something happens that’s bigger than the sum of its parts.” 

Now at last, you can relive the experience of these very special live shows. ‘Live At Leeds’ and ‘Live At Islington Academy’ are available now on Vinyl and CD as well as digital download and the streaming platform of your choice.
